In France, French would be necessary because that is their country's main language. Even when people from France speak english, they usually have a French accent that can be sorted from a regular english speaker.
All French teachers from our school are fluent and have experienced this language for a long time, that's what makes them good French teachers.
In Palmer, French is taught in many other subjects and needing a language to graduate makes French courses more necessary to learn and sign up for.

French is the second language that is mostly spoken in Canada, and if you reside in Canada you should probably want to learn this language because it might be useful in this country.
There is not a best way to study for French, French is a language and is different from studying a subject like Math. Great study alternatives for French would be watching French movies, find vocabulary words in a dictionary, switch your phone into French language, and start creating French conversations with yourself.
